DESCRIPTION

The X2 B turntable blends advanced technology with a long-standing tradition of high-quality audio. It incorporates the "True Balanced Connection" system, which is designed to minimize electromagnetic interference—something that's increasingly relevant with the proliferation of wireless devices. This system uses balanced audio connections, typically found in professional settings, to eliminate noise by using three wires (hot, cold, and ground) for each channel. The cold wire inverts the hot signal, and when both signals are combined, any interference cancels out.

The X2 B features a 9-inch carbon/aluminum tonearm, offering rigidity and effective damping. Its low-friction bearing ensures precise tracking, and the tonearm's one-piece design eliminates vibrations from detachable headshells. The high mass of the tonearm suits low and moderate compliance MC cartridges like the Ortofon Quintet Red, which comes pre-installed on the turntable. The tonearm also offers adjustable height, azimuth, and vertical tracking angle (VTA) to fine-tune sound quality.

For connectivity, the X2 B supports both mini XLR and RCA outputs, with high-quality semi-balanced cables provided. To take full advantage of the balanced signal, users need a compatible phono cable.

The turntable’s motor is exceptionally quiet, supported by a motor suspension system that reduces vibrations. The motor is decoupled from the plinth, ensuring optimal performance, while an electronically controlled DC/AC generator guarantees stable speeds. The X2 B offers convenient speed switching between 33 and 45 RPM with a flat belt, and between 45 and 78 RPM with a round belt.

The X2 B’s heavy MDF chassis dampens resonances, ensuring clear, detailed playback. The chassis stands on adjustable, damped aluminum feet for stability, and the plinth features a luxurious finish, available in various colors. Handmade in Europe, the X2 B is built with premium materials to meet high-quality standards.
