The Inside Story
Hear from the design team about the prodigy models and what makes them such remarkable performers.
Advanced Transmission Line & Laminair
PMC's Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) bass-loading is a key to the company's natural, uncoloured sound. ATL uses energy generated by the bass unit in a more intelligent and efficient way than speaker designs based on ported or sealed boxes. PMC's Laminair airflow technology further enhances ATL, improving definition and timing while eradicating unwanted air noise.
At Home In The Studio
The quest for sonic transparency and neutrality has always been PMC's driving force, using advanced engineering to reproduce music as vividly and faithfully as possible. After all, it's in the company's name – the Professional Monitor Company – and PMC's designs are used in studios worldwide to create the sound listeners can also enjoy on PMC speakers in their homes.
From Studio To Home
At PMC, music is an obsession: getting as close as possible to what's being played and recorded has always been the company's passion. PMC's aim is not to impose an additional character on the music, but rather to create a clear window for the artist's vision, forming a true emotional connection between the music and the listener at home.
