The CS200 In-Ceiling Loudspeaker is a perfect choice to use in custom whole-home distributed audio installations when paired with our MI128 or MI254 distribution amplifiers. It is voice-matched to our WS500 and WS300 in-wall speakers, making for a cohesive sound experience where a combination of the CS200 and wall speakers is used. It's also a great surround sound speaker to use in dedicated home theaters with any of our A/V processors and multi-channel amplifiers. This 3-way in-ceiling speaker features an 8" woven glass fiber woofer, two 2" inverted Titanium dome midranges, and one 3/4" Titanium dome tweeter. The midranges and tweeter are housed in a rotating array so the already incredible sonic performance of each speaker can be maximized in each individual space. The midranges and tweeter are the same drivers used in our XR50 and XR100 home audio speakers, meaning you'll receive the same high-level performance from the CS200 as from our home audio speakers. The grille magnetically attaches for easy removal. The grille is also paintable and will leave little to no visible edge of the mounting flange so the speaker can virtually disappear into its surroundings. An optional rough-in kit (#RK200) is available if needed.
