The outer diameter of the cable has increased, allowing more space between the individual conductors, decreasing distortion-causing interaction between adjacent conductors by 35%. While Type 5 is a superb full-range cable, it can also be doubled up to work as a very effective Double-BiWire combination cable. Type 5 is available in a black and brown braid, terminated with AudioQuest’s high-quality SureGrip 300 connectors, or on spools—either braided or with a CL3/FT4 red-striped black PVC jacket.
