Reduce digital audio jitter from S/PDIF signals with the iFi AUDIO S/PDIF iPurifier2. It features an RCA digital coaxial and 1/8" optical input and output and supports multiple digital format types, including Dolby Digital and DTS.
Bit Perfect Engineering: The iPurifier2 is designed to be bit perfect – to not over-sample or up-sample the signal. It's compatible with DTS, Dolby Digital, and DoP signals and supports signals up to 192 kHz. It works with optical and digital coaxial connections from nearly any S/PDIF source, and can output to both optical and digital coaxial at the same time, allowing for simultaneous connection to two audio systems. It can also function as a digital coaxial to optical converter.
Four-Stage Process: The signal goes through four stages: isolation, regeneration, a memory buffer, and re-clocking. This is designed to restore the square wave, which represents the desired signal, restoring the S/PDIF signal without jitter with more warmth, resolution, and dynamic contrast.
GMT Memory Buffer System: AMR's Global Master Timing (GMT) / Memory Buffer System is engineered to solve the S/PDIF digital signal jitter problem. Reclock and Regenerate are designed to add further strength and fidelity to the signal.
Galvanic Isolation: The galvanically isolated S/PDIF output separates the electrical circuits to help eliminate stray elements, so only the signal can pass through for virtually interference-free audio.
