The ML1 Loudspeaker, McIntosh’s first speaker introduced in 1970, set new standards for sound quality, high volume output, and bass response. Discontinued in 1977, the ML1 returns as the ML1 Loudspeaker Mk II, honoring its legacy with modern upgrades. The cabinet, crafted from oiled American Walnut, features a refined, acoustically transparent grille for improved sound clarity. The new design positions the drivers symmetrically for a uniform listening experience, while a specially milled transition plate minimizes vibrations and improves imaging. With advanced midrange and tweeter technologies, the ML1 Mk II delivers clear, faithful reproduction of your favorite music, just as the original did for enthusiasts decades ago.
