Crossovers, drivers and cabinets undergo rigorous testing to ensure consistent performance and reliability. Each finished speaker receives computer analysis, BBC speech testing and extensive music listening tests. Every pair is matched against a reference model to maintain PMC’s exacting quality standards.

Passive Systems

The MB2 SE passive design allows listeners to choose their preferred amplifier. Its precision-engineered crossover accurately distributes audio frequencies between the drivers for clear, balanced reproduction. Military-grade glass-fiber circuit boards, thick copper tracks and carefully selected, hand-soldered components minimize resistance and ensure reliable performance.

The Beating Heart

PMC’s ATL™ (Advanced Transmission Line) technology delivers deeper, more natural bass from a relatively compact cabinet. Special acoustic materials absorb unwanted frequencies while extending low-frequency response through a front-panel vent. This design produces clean, controlled bass without masking vocals or musical detail. Bass remains balanced and well-defined even at lower listening volumes.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1123/6098/files/PMC-MB2-SE-Passive-Speakers-with-Stands-Each-Grand-Walnut-Image-01.jpg?v=1793890128
