Inspired by the critically acclaimed T66, the T44 brings the same wide-open soundstage, holographic imaging, and effortless dynamics that define the GoldenEar experience. Engineered with proprietary driver technology and an integrated powered bottom-end, it delivers the kind of deep, articulate bass and soaring high frequencies that turn everyday listening into a high-fidelity escape.

Features

High-Velocity Folded Ribbon Tweeter

4.5-Inch MVPP Mid-Bass Driver

Integrated Powered Bass Section

56-Bit DSP-Controlled Amplification

Dual Quadratic Planar Passive Radiators

Five-Way Bi-Wiring Binding Posts

High-Velocity Folded Ribbon (HVFR™) Tweeter

GoldenEar’s signature HVFR™ tweeter redefines high-frequency reproduction. Unlike traditional dome tweeters, the folded ribbon design dramatically increases the radiating surface area while maintaining ultra-low mass. This results in lightning-fast transient response, exceptional detail retrieval, and a broad, natural dispersion pattern that fills the room with smooth, airy highs — never harsh or fatiguing.

High-Definition Cast-Basket MVPP™ Upper-Bass/Mid-Driver

Purpose-built for the GoldenEar T-Series, this precision-engineered 4.5” driver combines a rigid cast basket with GoldenEar’s proprietary Multi-Vaned Phase Plug™ (MVPP) design to deliver exceptional clarity, speed, and control. Tuned specifically for upper-bass and midrange performance, it ensures seamless integration with the T44’s folded ribbon tweeter and bass drivers—resulting in a balanced, dynamic, and emotionally engaging listening experience.

Quadratic Planar Low-Frequency Drivers & Passive Radiators

The T44 integrates a single long-throw quadratic planar low-frequency driver and dual passive radiators. This proprietary driver moves large volumes of air with precision and minimal distortion, producing deep, controlled bass that rivals standalone subwoofers. The passive radiators enhance efficiency and transient response, allowing the T44 to deliver rich, taut low frequencies even at modest volumes.

56-Bit DSP-Controlled Amplification

To maximize performance and system integration, the built-in amplifier powering the long-throw quadratic planar low-frequency driver employs advanced digital signal processing (DSP). This ensures optimal driver protection, dynamic range, and frequency response shaping. The result is tight, musical bass that seamlessly blends with the midrange and highs — delivering a cohesive, full-spectrum soundstage.

Acoustically Optimized Enclosure

The curved, inert cabinet design minimizes coloration while maximizing appeal. Offered in high-gloss Piano Black and Santa Barbara Red finishes that are as visually stunning as their sound.

Cast Aluminum Base

The full-footprint cast aluminum base provides exceptional stability and durability, anchoring the speaker securely in place. Equipped with adjustable outrigger spikes and pads, it effortlessly adapts to both carpeted and hard surface floors, minimizing vibrations and ensuring optimal acoustic performance in any environment.

Better Performance with Bi-Wiring Support

Dual binding posts provide versatile connectivity options, allowing for bi-wiring to enhance audio performance. By separating the high and low-frequency signals, bi-wiring reduces interference and improves clarity, delivering a cleaner, more detailed soundstage for discerning listeners.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1123/6098/files/GoldenEar-T44-3-Way-Hybrid-Floorstanding-Speaker-with-Active-Bass-Each-Gloss-Black-Image-03.jpg?v=1793899065
https://skybygramophone.com/products/goldenear-t44-3-way-hybrid-floorstanding-speaker-with-active-bass-each-gloss-black
